Especially for the price you pay, this is an awesome mic. I've been using it to record my trombone and it really captures a smooth, compact, and natural sound. I highly recommend getting a good ribbon mic preamp because the output will likely be too soft.
It Sounds Amazing
I really couldn't believe how great this mic sounded! Not only does it look incredible, I've tested it on acoustic guitar and vocals and it sounds great on both.
I'm Blown Away
I purchased the R77 for my brother as a gift. It works amazing both on vocals and on his saxophone. It adds warmth, depth, and some dimension to the sound. All in all a great mic and going to add another to my collection as soon as possible!
